Our application period for the upcoming December 2026 and January 2027 holiday season, is officially open. Bookings for December 2026/January 2027 open on 1 March 2026 at 7:30 and close 31 March 2026 at 16:30.

Some important notes:

- Allocations will be made by 30 April 2026 and deposit invoices will be emailed to successful applicants in May 2026.
- Unsuccessful booking applications will be added to a waiting list in order of date and time received
- Only emailed applications and website applications will be accepted. No hand delivers applications, or telephonic applications will be accepted whatsoever.
- Bookings of 25 days and longer will receive preference. Please note, if stand is awarded on this principal no changes on number of days or cancellations will be entertained.
- Applications of 24 days and less will first be allocated according to number of days and dates requested. If equal/overlapping the principal of “first come first serve” will be applied. Bookings for the most nights receive preference. No changes on number of days will be entertained
- To confirm acceptance of award a 50% deposit must be paid by 31 July 2026. The remaining balance must be paid before 30 October 2026.
Please note that tariffs and structure of tariff are subject to the approval of the Garden Route District Municipality’s 2026/2027 budget. The new tariffs will be published on our website as soon as it has been approved (in July).
The Garden Route District Municipality reserves the right not to make or confirm bookings.
